MY STORY

How I Started...

I have always loved the creative side of life, but it wasn't until I had my first baby back in 2012 that I fell head over heels in love with photography.

All I had to hand was my iphone and a small digital camera but I would take hundreds of pictures a month. Afterall, you can never have too many memories of your child growing up, can you?

I bought my first DSLR in 2014 after the birth of my second child and spent the next 3 years researching, learning and soaking up any information I could find to create those soft, dreamy images I have always loved.

My style of portraiture tends to be rich in colour, soft and full of character and fully utilizing of the natural beauty of our local area, if not in a studio with an abundance of gorgeous little props.

I've completed Newborn Posing training with Emma Jane of Little Love Photography. Safety is paramount when it comes to newborn photography. Many of the finished products you see are cleverly edited together in post process.

I've also had training with the wonderful Lisa McCormick, who specialises in beautiful outdoor shoots. As she was one of the photographers who inspired me to take the leap into business, it was an absolute pleasure to train with her.
