NEWBORN
You're expecting your bundle of joy very soon. These precious moments only last for such a short time. Capture the delicate features of your little one, all those tiny, precious details that are all too quickly forgotten with a Newborn session and have memories to keep forever.
​
These sessions last for 1-3 hours depending on your package and will be held in my comfortable studio based at Maritime House in Prenton, Wirral. Props and different coloured wraps and blankets will be available to choose from our selection.
​
I am limited on how many Newborns I can book per month to allow flexibility between your due date and your baby's arrival. Newborn sessions are best carried out under 14 days old as after this period they are more alert and less likely to curl into those womb like positions. Bookings can be made as early as your 20 week scan.
​
An exact date for your session will be arranged when your baby is born and I will be in contact with you in the run up to your baby's arrival to arrange a date to suit you.

PORTRAIT SESSION
Portrait sessions can take place either outdoors or in my studio and are perfect for a single child, siblings or even a small group of friends.
Outdoor sessions can be as candid or as posed as you like and will take place in the beautiful, natural surroundings of Wirral. Some of my favourite places to take clients is to the woodland or beaches. As the seasons change, so do the colours, the flowers, the scenery. If you require any specific props, we can discuss this prior to your date and I will try my best to accommodate you. The time of day you pick can widely change the atmosphere of your photographs. Many people prefer early evening when the sun is lower in the sky, creating beautiful golden light.

Pictures can still be taken in light rain and during overcast days so please bring your child(ren) in weather suitable, neutral clothing. Try to avoid clothing with any characters or slogans. Hair can be up or down as long as the child's face can be seen clearly. Sessions will last for up to 1 hour.
​
If weather is severe I will endeavour to rebook a date and time convenient to you or you have the option of using the studio instead.
​
These sessions are not suitable for newborns or very young babies.
